A function is not able to allow a task though functions can allow the other functions.

The function will take out its required duty in the zero simulation time. (The program time will not be incremented throughout the function routine).

In a function, no event, delay or timing control statements are allowed.

In invocation of a function there should be at least one argument to be passed.

Functions will just return a single value and cannot use either output or in out statements.
