The sprint burn down chart is publicly displayed chart screening remaining work in the sprint backlog. Updated every day, it provides a simple view of sprint progress. It also gives quick visualizations for reference. There are as well other types of burn down, for instance the release burn down chart which shows the amount of work left to complete the target commitment for a Product Release (normally spanning throughout multiple iterations) and the alternative release burn down chart, [16] which fundamentally does the same, but clearly shows scope changes or alters to Release Content, by resetting baseline.
