Free Vibration of MDOF Systems
Why free vibration takes place at MDOF system?

Free Vibration of MDOF Systems:Free vibration take place at natural frequencies of the system and, in general, the motion will consist of several simultaneous oscillations at the various natural frequencies of the system.
However, under certain specific conditions, all the coordinates will undergoes harmonic motion corresponding to one of the normal frequencies of the system.
When such motion take place, the motion is called the principal mode of vibration, or the normal mode of vibration.
Pneumatic system is a system which employs air to power something. For illustration, have you seen the tube systems at the bank drive-up tellers? Air is employed to push the tubes back and forth from the teller to customer. Figure below shows a reinforced concrete framed building subjected to earthquake ground motion. The floor is rigid with the mass of each floor is shown in the figure. Formulate the equation of motion for this building. Prove that the natural frequenci
Hello, I have a programming assignment that incorporates aerodynamics. I was wondering if it is possible to program the following assignment. If not, what would be the aerodynamic formulas required to do so. Thanks.
(a) A plane moving at a constant velocity, V, crashes into a building as shown in figure below. Due to the design against plane crash of that building, neither major damage nor explosion occurs but the building vibrates after the crash. Assuming that the building can
