Ecology:

Ecology is defined as the field of Biology which studies the relations between the living beings and between the living beings and the environment.

Species:

Species is defined as the group of living beings that are able to cross among themselves for producing the fertile offspring. This concept though does not apply to individuals of exclusive asexual reproduction and other definitions have been proposed.

Population:

Population is defined as the set of individuals of the same species found within the given place within a given time.
