Connection-Oriented :
a) Connection oriented states that the virtual connection is formed before any user data is transmitted.
b) In case, the connection is not able to get established - the user program is notified.
c) In case, the connection is ever interrupted - user program(s) is notified.
Reliable:
a) Reliable states that every transmission of the data is acknowledged by the receiver.
b) If the sender does not receive the acknowledgement within the specified amount of time, the sender should retransmit the data.
