a) Actor: Actor symbolizes an external user or end user who interacts with the system.
b) Object: Object is symbolized by one of components of system.
c) Unit: The unit is a subsystem or a sub component or other entity in the system.
d) Separator: Separator symbolizes a boundary among sub systems, components and units.
e) Group: It symbolizes various header elements in the sub-system.
