In various applications, it is neither attractive nor practical to expose a temperature sensor straightly to a material. Wells are therefore employed to protect against damage arosion, corresion, aborsion and high pressure procedures. A thermo well is as well useful in protecting a sensor from physical damage throughout normal and handling operations.
