VRM is referred to as the processor power module, VRM stands for voltage regulator module and is the module which is either embedded into the motherboard or as a separate small circuit board which regulates and supplies correct voltage to processor. By utilizing a VRM, AMD and Intel may adjust the power to processor in place of requiring the power supply in order to supply the correct current.
