Expert
Vision refers to the ability of some living beings in order to distinguish, to perceive and to interpret luminous stimuli. Vision is significant over the earth majorly in terrestrial and in superficial aquatic habitats since our planet is severely exposed to the sunlight and hence, light and colors become the distinguishing factors of the objects which are present within the environment, even at a distance. This distinction has offered the new survival strategies for organisms, new protection mechanisms against the external dangers, new ways in order to find the food and to communicate along with the other individuals, new types of the courting and reproduction behaviors, and so on. That means, it formed the new possibilities of interaction along with the surrounding and increased capacity to explore new ecological niches.
