What is UFD and MFD
Describe what is UFD and MFD.
Expert
In two-level directory structure, every user has its own user file directory (UFD). Every UFD has same structure, however, lists only files of the single user. Whenever the job starts, the master file directory of the system (MFD) is searched. MFD is indexed through the user name or the account number, and every entry points to the UFD for that user.
