Liquid Crystal Display or LCD comprises of the two glass plates which is coated upon their inner surfaces along with the thin film of transparent conducting material like indium oxide. The material over the front plate is fixed to make the seven segments, each of which make an electrode. A mirror image is also stamped in the oxide coating of back glass plate. The space between plates is filled with the liquid crystal compound, and complete assembly is hermitically sealed with the special thermoplastic material in order to avoid the contamination.
