IDEA (abbreviated as International Data Encryption Algorithm) is the second version of a block cipher designed and represented by Lai and Massey. This is a 64-bit iterative block cipher with 128-bit key and 8 rounds. Whereas the cipher is not Feistel, decryption is taken out in similar manner as encryption once the decryption subkeys have been computed from the encryption subkeys.
