Along with the standard activities available in base activity library, new activities can be create in order to meet the particular business needs. Creating custom activities can be required for supporting a particular applications which you want to integrate with the WF. Custom activities are normally created from the attributes and the inheritance. Two types of custom activities can be created like, base and composite. Basic custom activity can be created by inheriting the custom composite and Activity class activity by inheriting the compositeActivity class or a derived type.
