CDMA signifies for code division multiple access and its frequency is 800 mhz and 1900 mhz.
Channel bandwidth is 12 mhz with 1.25mhz for the spread spectrum.
In CDMA they allocate a unique code to the user individually and assign the net bandwidth to the user.
In GSM we divide the bandwidth into lots of time slots and assign each time slot to the user.
