WAN and dedicated circuits
Is WAN employs dialed circuits easier or harder to design than one that employs dedicated circuits? Explain.
Expert
WAN using dedicated circuits is easier to design because in dedicated circuit, each service is provided a separate dedicated line so design of each line is simple with dedicated carrier. In case of dialed circuits it difficult to set up as it has to address various providers with the allotted bandwidth. It has to manage all the end users requirements simultaneously so different carrier signals needs to be created. Though the dialed circuits are cost effective than the dedicated circuits the design aspects are more critical in case of dialed circuits.
