Time division multiple access
Describe the Time division multiple access or TDMA.
Expert
Time division multiple access or TDMA is defined as a channel access method for the shared medium networks. It enables various users to share the same frequency channel by dividing the signal into several time slots. Users broadcast in fast succession, one after the other, each one utilizing his own time slot. This enables the several stations to share the same transmission medium (for example: the radio frequency channel) while utilizing only a part of its channel capacity.
