IDEA (or International Data Encryption Algorithm) is the second version of the block cipher designed and represented by Massey and Lai. This is a 64-bit iterative block cipher with 128-bit key and eight rounds. As the cipher is not Feistel, the decryption is taken out in the similar way as encryption once the decryption subkeys have been computed from the encryption subkeys.
