In single-business organization, business and the corporate stages of strategy making combine into one level – business strategy. Therefore, a single-business organization has only three levels of strategy:
(1) Business strategy for the company as a whole,
(2) Functional-area strategies for every key area within the business and
(3) Operating strategies commence by lower level managers to flesh out strategically significant features for the functional-area strategies and company’s business.
