ScriptManager control is a core control which implements a main role in executing the ASP.NET AJAX functionality. It provide help to use the JavaScript for Microsoft AJAX Library. It must be noted that AJAX Library on Web page can only be used in case the Web page consists of the ScriptManager control. This control uses the ScriptManager class in order to maintain the script files and AJAX script libraries.
