Same extraembryonic membranes in all vertebrates
Whether extra-embryonic membranes are same in all the vertebrates?
Expert
The presence of each extra-embryonic membrane varies as per the vertebrate class. In fishes and amphibians only yolk sac is present. In birds and reptiles, besides the yolk sac there are the chorion, the amnion, and the allantois. In placental mammals, besides all these membranes the placenta is present too.
