Reimbursement Warrant or Revenue Anticipation Warrant

Reimbursement Warrant (or Revenue Anticipation Warrant):

A warrant which has been sold by the State Controller’s Office, as an outcome of a cash shortage in the General Fund, the proceeds of which will be employed to reimburse the General Cash Revolving Fund.

The Reimbursement Warrant might or might not be registered by the State Treasurer’s Office. The registering does not influence the terms of repayment or other aspects of the Reimbursement Warrant.
