Random scan is a technique in which the display is created by the electronic beam which is directed merely to the points or portion of the screen where the picture is to be drawn. While the Raster scans system is a scanning process in which the electrons sweep up from top to the bottom and from left to the right. The intensity is turned on and off to light and unlighted the pixel.
