Public cloud can be used for the numerous reasons, as follows:

b) Helps when you want to test the application and also want to develop the application code.
c) Helps when you need to implement the security for application.
d) Helps when you want to raise the computing capacity.
e) Helps when you are working over the projects in the collaboration.

Private cloud permits the usage of services by the single client over the private network. Benefits of this model are corporate governance, data security and reliability concerns. The organization uses the private cloud when it has a large, well-run data centre which is having a lot of free capacity. It is also used when an organization is giving IT services to its clients and the data of organization is extremely important. It is best suited when the requirements are really critical.

Various characteristics of this model are as follows:

a) It provides the ability to the internal users and permits the provision of services.
b) It provides a well-managed environment.
c) Allows the optimization of the computational resources, like servers.
d) Automates the job of management and offers the billing of consumption of a particular service.
e) It Manages workload of the hardware.
