Write down any three properties of materials.

a) Ductility : It is the property of material by which it can be drawn into a thin wire.

b) Brittleness : A brittle material breaks suddenly under pressure without appreciable deformation, proceeding to failure.

c) Fatigue : When a material is subjected to fluctuating stress, it will break at a stress which is much lower than the stress at which damage is done to the material.
