Level 1: Initial: Some of the processes are stated and individual attempts are taken.
Level 2: Repeatable: To track the cost schedule and functionality fundamental project management procedures are established.
Level 3: Defined: The procedure is standardized, documented and followed.
Level 4: Managed: Both software procedure and product are quantitatively understood and controlled by using the detailed measures.
Level 5: Optimizing: Establish methods to plan and implement the changes.
