Private IP Address is the one that is not recognized on Internet. This is majorly employed to connect various devices locally on the small network or even in great networks. These devices can’t directly take part on the Internet for the simple reason which they are recognized. This is where devices such as Router comes in picture where it translates all packets from these kind of Private devices in the Public IP Addresses which is being allocated and forwards to Internet and accurately does the reverse for incoming packets on the Public IP to give it back to private devices. This procedure of translation is named as Network Address Translation and the procedure of forwarding packets from several different networks to various other networks is called Routing.
