Pre-paging and demand-paging
What do you understand by the term pre-paging and demand-paging?
Expert
With demand paging, a page is brought into memory only when a location on that page is really referenced through execution. With pre-paging, pages other than the one demanded with a page fault are brought in. The selection of these pages is done based on common access patterns or especially for secondary memory devices.
