Explain the difference between the phloem and xylem.

Both xylem and phloem are the vascular tissues that are found in the plant. Xylem is a tubular structure that is responsible for the water transport from roots to all of the parts of plant. Phloem is also the tubular structure, which, on the other hand, is responsible for transportation of food and other nutrients required by the plant.
