Does pH influence the enzyme activity?

Verified

The concentration of hydrogen ions in solution influences the enzyme activity. Each and every enzyme has highest efficiency beneath an optimum pH. As pH is one of the factors for denaturation of proteins, when an enzyme is submitted to a pH level beneath which it is denatured there will be no activity of enzyme.
