Panning and morphing
Describe briefly the term panning and morphing? What are their importances in animation?
Expert
Morphing is a short term for metamorphism that means transformation of object shapes from one form to another form. Morphing techniques can be applied to any transition or motion involving a change in shape.
Panning means shifting of foreground or background to provide the illusion of camera in motion following a moving object, and hence the foreground or background appears to be in motion. Both methods are broadly used in animation application.
