Briefly describe about workloads and explain why does the organization required to handle the workloads?

Workload can be defined as the independent service or the set of code which can be executed. It can be anything from the data-intensive workload to storage or the transaction processing workload and does not rely upon outside elements. Workload can be reffered as the small or whole application.
Organization handles workloads because of the following reasons:
1. To know the charges of individual department according to use of the service.
2. To know how their applications are running.
3. To know what functions they are executing.
