Three levels of abstraction are defined here as follows::

Physical level:

It is the lowest level of abstraction explains how data are stored.

Logical level:

It is the next higher level of abstraction, explains what data are stored inside database and what connections among such data.

View level:

It is the highest level of abstraction explains only part of whole database.
