Give a brief explanation of Kernel mode and user mode.

The kernel is privileged mode, in that no restriction is imposed on kernel of system. The kernel might use all the instructions of the processor, maneuver the entire of the memory, and talk directly to peripheral controllers. The user mode is normal execution mode for process. In this mode, the process have no privilege.
