As visual images are projected in the inverted manner on retina why we don't see the things upside down?

As crystalline lens is a convex spherical lens which forms the inverted images on retina. Inverted information follows the optical nerves up-till the occipital cerebral cortex which consists of the visual area of brain. In brain, interpretation of image occurs and inverted information is reverted.
