Microsoft Windows Workflow Foundation was created to address these requirements. Windows Workflow Foundation provides a common framework for building workflows into Microsoft Windows applications, whether such workflows coordinate interactions among software, interactions among people, or both. The Windows Workflow Foundation (WF) provides a solid platform that addresses the needs of system workflows.
