In pluralism the organization is perceived as being made up of powerful and divergent sub-groups - management and trade unions. Approach which shows differences of attention and disagreements between managers and workers over the distribution of profits as normal and in escapable. Consequently, the role of management would lean less towards enforcing and controlling and more toward persuasion and co-ordination. Legitimate representatives of employees are deemed as Trade unions. Inconsistency is dealt by cooperative bargaining and is observed not necessarily as a bad article and also if managed could in fact be outlets towards progression and constructive change. Realistic executives must accept inconsistency to occur.
