When a new ASE is built, the 'sa' account has a NULL password to start with. Setting an account to have similar binary value as like 'sa' account must work. Keep in mind that the binary string is going to be specific to the operating system and the exact release of ASE etc. Of course, if you have set the password of your 'sa' accounts to be something but NULL (sensible move), then you are going to must build yourself a dummy server only to get the correct string. If it is significant to you, then you may hope to store the value somewhere safe when you have generated it.
