It is also called ad hoc testing, but in actually it's not wholly ad hoc. This testing is a spontaneous, unstructured, and can be even impulsive journey during the system with the aim of detecting bugs. It is concurrent learning, test execution, and test design. Or we can say, to design better tests this testing is completed to the some extent that the tester proactively organize the design of the tests as those tests are execute and uses gained information while testing. In this testers are not just keying in random data, but rather testing the areas that their experience tells them are important and then carry on where those tests take them.
