In accordance with the Microsoft, there exists four major principles which describes the behaviour and working of the workflows. Developers use all these principles for developing the workflow-based applications.
Four major principles are as follows:
a) Workflows are long-running and stateful. b) Workflows provide help in coordinating the work which is performed by the people and software. c) Workflows are based over the extensible models. d) Workflows used to be transparent and dynamic during their lifecycle.
