Topographical surveying :

Topographical surveying is used to discover the horizontal as well as vertical points by angular and linear measurements. It can also used to calculate the natural features like  lakes, streams, forests and so on.

Cadastral surveying :

Cadastral Surveying is employed in order to fix the boundary lines of a property,for calculating the area of land and to transfer the land property from one person to another one.
