What is a Programmable Intelligent Computer?




PIC stands for Programmable Intelligent Computer. It is microprocessor lies within a personal computer but considerably simpler, cheaper and smaller. This can be used for operating relays and measuring sensors.
The main components inside a PIC are as follows: Processing engine, Program memory and data memory as well as Input/output.

The types of program memory in a PIC are as given below: Read-only, Flash and EPROM as well as EEPROM.
