Metrics folders are used by the Metrics Studio in order to store the metrics-related information. However, the standard behavior on selecting the other two folder types is to display their contents, a Metrics Folder will open up directly in the Metrics Studio. A dark blue icon with the colored dots specifies the Metrics folders.
