In positive feedback the effect caused by the action stimulates the action even more. This is a rarer mechanism of homeostatic regulation.
Example of positive feedback is blood clotting procedure in which each chemical reaction creates enzymes that catalyze the following reaction till the formation of fibrin. Thus the products of antecedent chemical reactions are consumed and equilibrium of each reaction is dislocated towards production of more enzymes (or a positive feedback).
