As Compared to mammals, do birds absorb less or more water in their digestive system? Explain why this phenomenon is an adaptation to flight?

Bird feces are more liquid in comparison to the mammal feces, that is, less water is absorbed wihtin the avian digestive system. The more regular elimination of feces in the birds because of their less solid feces is an adaptation to the flight as their body weight is generally kept lower.
