Homologous immunoglobulin is the human (from the similar species) immunoglobulin. In condition of inoculation in animals the same as in veterinary procedures homologous immunoglobulin is from the blood of animals of the similar species of the creature undergoing treatment.
Heterologous immunoglobulin is obtained from animals of different species from the particular into which it would be inoculated. Heterologous immunoglobulins are more prone to being devastated by the self antibodies of the individual.
