Describe briefly the term parasitism?

Parasitism is ecological interaction in that a being lives at expense of other. The parasite frequently doesn’t cause immediate death of host since it requires the host alive to continue to exist.

Parasitism is the inharmonious (negative) inter-specific ecological interaction, because though one participant benefit the other is debilitated.
