Give a brief explanation of primary consumers. Can food chain offering quaternary consumers without comprising secondary or tertiary consumers? Can a tertiary consumer of one chain be a primary or secondary consumer of another chain?

Primary consumers are living things which eat autotrophic beings, that is, they eat producers. Primary consumers forever belong to second tropic level of the chain. A food chain can’t enfold consumers of greater orders without comprising the consumer of the inferior orders. A consumer but can take part in various different chains not always belonging to same consumer order in each and every of them.
