With the database server, client gives the SQL requests to the database server. Results of each SQL command will return on the network. Server uses its own processing power in order to find the request data in place of passing all records back to client and then getting it find its own data. Result is a much more sufficient use of the distributed processing power. It is also called as the SQL engine.
