In order to know testing methods we require understand the concept of workbench. Workbench is a method of documenting how a particular activity has to be performed.
There are five tasks for each workbench which are as follows:
i. Input: Each task requires some distinct input and entry criteria. Thus for each workbench we must need distinct inputs. Input forms the initial step of the workbench.
ii. Execute: This is the major task of the workbench that will convert the input into the predictable output.
iii. Check: Check steps guarantee that the output after implementation meets the preferred consequence.
iv. Production output: If the check is accurate, then the output of production forms the exit criteria of the workbench.
v. Rework: During the check step if the output is not as preferred then we require to start again from the execute step.
