Clients can be classified into two:

a) Non-GUI and,

b) GUI

Non-GUI clients are further divided into two:

1) Non-GUI clients which do not require multi-tasking.  For Example: Automatic Teller Machines (ATM), Cell phone

2) Non-GUI clients which require multi-tasking. For Example: ROBOTs

GUI clients:

1) OOUI clients
